Hi Tenzing
I am having the same problem. I choose to do my own topic so i think that im the only one writing about this topic. I did not know we had to make a cover page so thank you for telling me. If you cant find no one that is doing your topic just continue searching and you will find a lot of information.

Revision
I finally finished writing my paper, now i need to start revising. My topic was about the benefits of switching to a veterinarian diet, which highlighted three main points. The meat industry, the affects of meat on your health, and the benefits of switching to a plant based diet. I feel that my paper is good but i still need to expand on my last two topics, because i wrote a few facts but there is a lot more to write about. My grammar needs to be corrected and some punctuation may need tom be added. I have enough sources but i still need an academic source. Also when i am citing in need to correctly use MLA citation.

I am currently on the process of writing my introduction. For me this is the most difficult step because i am never satisfied with my introduction. I try to include some details of what i am going to write in my paper, but i want to try to catch the readers attention so they will want to read my paper and not be bored. I am trying to follow my outline because it has everything i want to talk about, but i have a problem with run on sentences so i may get of topic so i need to improve on that. Status- Need to start

Progress
The topic i have chosen to write about is becoming vegetarian. I choose this topic because it has a lot of great information that can be shared. I recently gained an interest in this topic because the new things i found out while researching, made me think of the food i was eating. There are alot of questions and controversy in this topic so it will give me a lot to write. Most of my information will come from health websites and documentaries, so i will have reliable resources.

Many people are unaware of the process the
meat factories take to prepare the food they ship out. When a chicken is killed
and prepared for package they don’t realize that there getting more than just a
“fresh” meal. In The physicians committee for responsible medicine website
state that “nutrition experts with the Physicians Committee warn that most
consumers are unaware that feces, toxic chemicals, superbugs, carcinogens, and
cholesterol are likely hiding in every bite they eat” (PCRM) This means that
the customers not only get and fattening meal that will cause health problems,
but they also eat toxic chemicals, left over feces, super bug, and carcinogens
which can increase the risk of lung and bladder cancer. The purpose of this
quote is to inform and make the reader think twice about the food they eat.

If you as the customer had a choice between
picking a small piece of meat or a larger more bulky piece of meat, which on
will you choose? In order to satisfy their customers the meat factories inject
there animals with steroids, estrogen, and more shots that cause fast growth.
These injections not only affect the animal but also the person eating them The
Huffington post writes about a study on the effects of the hormones in the
animals. “A 2009 study found that children who consumed the most protein from
animal sources entered puberty about seven months earlier than those who
consumed the least” This doesn’t seem like it’s a major health factor, but
studies has shown that it can be very harmful to a young girl. When a girl goes
through puberty at an early age it has been found to be associated with a
higher risk of breast cancer. This quote connects with my topic because it
proves that eating meat rather than a plant based diet can affect you now and
in the future.

If you were given a choice to live a
longer and much healthier life style would you take it? How about if there’s a
way to reduce the risk of you obtaining lethal disease’s such as cancer, heart
disease, strokes, and diabetes. PETA an organization that informs people about
healthy eating states that “Vegans also tend to have stronger immune systems
and, on average, live 10 years longer than meat-eaters do” This will help my
paper because everyone wants to live a long and healthy life, so this will
catch the reader’s attention and make them want to read on.

Food is the body’s main source of energy,
but can meats be causing a negative effect on your health. This research paper
is to inform and persuade the readers on why giving up meats will be healthier
for the body, explain the health risks, and the benefits of changing your diet.
The methods I will use to gain information about this topic is documentaries such
as vegucated, which follow 3 people as they choose to stop eating meat for 6
weeks. Peoples personal stories, articles, and books. This paper will highlight
the main reasons on why meat is bad for you, for example the substances put in
the meat, and how those chemicals affect us once we consume the meat. The
health benefits of giving up meats, and healthier alternatives that can help
improve the body’s health.
I choose this topic because my family has
health risks such diabetes, heart stroke, and cancer. During my researches I
have found out that changing to a meat less diet can help the body and make you
less likely to develop those diseases. I’m proposing the study to aware people
of the health benefits of giving up meat and eating a plant based diet. This
subject will bring interest to people because they might be or may know someone
that has suffered from health issues. Also the majority of people want to live
a healthy life so by reading my paper they can learn of the advantages of
turning to a plant based diet.
Some limitations I will have is I won’t be
able to inform the readers of the way animals are being cruelty treated,
because it will go off my topic and won’t support my thesis. Also trying to
inform a reader who believes that eating meat is necessary or survival.

Week 1: Progress
So far I have read all of the topics available for the blogs, and I didn't really find any of them interesting. Most of the research topics are boring and will make the research process really long and dull. Two topics that I would really like to write about is about a country, and the animal factories. I love to travel and go to different areas, and this world has so many areas that we can explore. I would like to write about a country and its major attractions. I recently started to do my own research on the food we eat, I watched a video that opened my eyes and made me reevaluate the animal factories.
