Progress 11/05/13
I am currently on the process of writing my introduction. For me this is the most difficult step because i am never satisfied with my introduction. I try to include some details of what i am going to write in my paper, but i want to try to catch the readers attention so they will want to read my paper and not be bored. I am trying to follow my outline because it has everything i want to talk about, but i have a problem with run on sentences so i may get of topic so i need to improve on that. Status- Need to start

I also have trouble starting my introduction. Sometimes I like to start with a short background information or an anecdote as an attention grabber. The great thing about a introduction is once you get through with that, you can easily do the rest of the essay. If your worried its going to be boring then make it funny. Start off with a joke. I doubt it's going to take away from the seriousness of essay. You have about 7 page of serious. So with being said, just have fun with your essay without of course making a mockery of your topic. Hope this was somewhat helpful. :-)
